Actualy, my Victor was a 1972 and renamed the "Gold Star" in honor of the classic GOLD STAR. The displacement had been increased from 441 cc to a full 500cc.
This BSA was just as powerful and fast as my Savage (even with 150cc less). How ever it vibrated terrible and broke down once a month and leaked oil. The life span was maybe only 20,000 miles and that is with good luck! It was really a fun bike though.
